Supportive Counseling and Psychotherapy for Adults

Therapy Can Help You Live Abundantly And Get In Touch With Your True Self

Being well means finding a sense of peace within yourself that no amount of outside pressure can disrupt. This doesn’t mean that you won’t be impacted by the world around you. It simply means that when you are grounded in love, joy, and peace, you can respond to the world’s challenges from a place of wholeness and serenity. And that response will be in tune with who you want to be in the world.

Therapy is a chance to learn how to do just that. It’s a chance to do the inner work of exploring yourself so that you can make choices that line up clearly with your values. The work of knowing all the parts of yourself takes time and great vulnerability, but the process of self-exploration is deeply rewarding. I encourage you to stay curious and open to what the process of understanding yourself can teach you. Mental wellness can bring you freedom.

And freedom is where it’s at. It’s what allows you to live abundantly. When you know who you are and have a deep relationship with yourself, it becomes easier to have fulfilling relationships with others. This is what therapy can help you achieve. It can empower you to get in touch with your values, deepen your self-love, and enjoy more meaningful connections.

As a counselor in the Chicago area, my approach is feminist, relational, and psychodynamic.
